16 Navy and 14 Orange Capitol Hill Classic Champions

The 16 Navy won the Capitol Hill Classic 16 Open Division after dropping only 1 match the entire weekend. The 14 Orange were equally successful, winning the lone 14′s Club Division after dropping only a single game. Several players were also recognized for their performance. From the 14 Orange Jillian Grammer was voted Best Setter while Haley Kleespies picked up Best Hitter and MVP Awards. Middles Anna Tolkach (16 Orange) and Heather Swann (14 Orange) also garnered Best Blocker accolades.
Other Synergy teams also fared well at the Capitol Hill Classic. The 13 Orange finished 3rd out of 16 and the 17 Lehigh finished 9th in a field of 36. Across the country at the Las Vegas Classic, the 17 Navy finished 21st out of 120 teams in the 17 Club division while the 18 Orange finished 11th out of a field of 120.

Weekend Update: Two Synergy Champions

Only a handful of teams were in action last weekend. Millersville, PA was the battle ground for 2 tournaments last Saturday. After the dust settled, 2 Synergy teams emerged victorious. The 14 Orange took first at the Penn Manor SpikeFest while the 16 Lehigh took the top spot at the Marauder Clash. If you have pictures, please send them in or post on our re-designed facebook page.
